Allergen Awareness

It is currently estimated that 18 million people in Britain have an allergy

Children, in particular, are affected with allergies - with as many as 40,000 born each year who develop an allergy or an allergy-related condition.  The most common allergic reactions are to milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, crustacea and soy.

This programme will introduce the importance of allergen awareness, the risk of allergies in the workplace and the difference between an allergic reaction and food intolerance.
