Led by David Pollack, an entrepreneurial accountant with considerable hands-on experience, the programme will teach the key steps to effective financial management and an understanding of financial information.
David recently participated in the acquisition of an established business and increased turnover and profit by over 350% in 2 years. As Group FD and key member of the management team, he achieved a 16 times return from his initial investment. Previously, he bought out his employer’s business and achieved significant improvement in turnover and profits. With experience in banking, manufacturing, wholesale and retail he has also provided consultancy with Coopers and Lybrand (now PWC) and as an independent business adviser.
During the last 5 years, David has been a regular presenter at a Residential Business School for independent consultants and advisers on the subject of Financial Awareness for Responsible Management. His style can be described as interactive as he believes that everyone has experience that will contribute to the course objective and that we all know more than we believe we know. The course has been widely acclaimed and has proved invaluable to those wishing to have a better understanding of their own businesses as well as those wishing to offer advice.
David graduated with a BSc in Economics from London and is a Fellow of both the Institute for Certified and Corporate Accountants and the Institute for Independent Business.
